The monopoly project was a success. Students learned while having fun making a board game called colonial monopoly. Most every group was able to play their board game Thursday and Friday.
The week of 10/6 will consist of reviewing vocabulary and key concepts from Chapter 3 in the textbook. On Monday and Tuesday, students will have classwork to complete. On Wednesday, students will review by playing YOUR SQUARE, MY SQUARE. On Thursday and Friday, students will watch parts of the movie JOHN ADAMS. The movie does a great job showing the kids the infamous BOSTON MASSACRE.

- I am enterig my 14th year of teaching at Shore Midle School. I started at Shore right out of Hiram College where I earned major degrees in Spanish and History. While at Shore I have taught two years of Spanish and the last eleven I have taught 8th grade American Studies. I am currently the 8th grade boys' basketball coach and carry the titles of Shore's Athletic Director and Intramural Director. My family consists of my wife who teaches art at Mentor High and our two great children, Paige who is 5 and Tanner who is 3.
