Textbooks must be covered by Friday, September 5. There are still a few students who haven't covered their textbook. Students have learned how to track their American Studies grade with a grade sheet.
Week two students will learn how to access their textbook on-line. Students will meet in the computer lab on Thursday and Friday. We will team up with Mr. Butterfield's classes to learn how to navigate through the holt online American Studies textbook. Students will be given their ID code that will enable students to access their textbook at home.
Weeks three and four students will research chapter two and plan together in groups of four to create a monopoly board and game pieces. Students will learn research skills and practice cooperative learning. The culminating activity will be playing the monopoly game they created.
